11 Hidden Gems in Italy

Places in Italy without a lot of American tourists, but are just as strikingly beautiful as their more busy counterparts. From the north of Italy, to off the coast of Sicily, and many in between.

This week, I’m doing things a little bit differently. Instead of eleven indulgences that have nothing to do with each other, today’s edition is all about eleven places in Italy that are not hotspots, and are great for my fellow hidden gem seekers, who also really love Italy. Planning ahead pays off when it comes to Italian summer. After Labor Day weekend, most if not all hotels in Italy will have their booking calendars open for the 2024 season.
