Ciao from a tiny island

It turns out, this is going to be my PTO week.

Hello lovely Hotel Person!

Well, I have over 6,000 words written and so many damn photos to share but none of it is ready. Not to my standard, at least.

I try to be the person who does it all, always, but this week I cannot. I’ve slept in four beds in the last week on three islands and one place on mainland Sicily. As the cookie crumbles, this week it wasn’t in the cards for me to do it all – the traveling, the living, the writing, and the editing.

I’m only one human with far too much luggage that I’m schlepping around and I need a bit more time to continue telling my Sicilian story. So, the next segment will be in your inbox on Wednesday, instead of today.

I was going to post on Instagram and on Notes to share this, but not everyone checks either of those and I never want to let anyone down. I can’t wait to share, and thank you for your patience. It has been quite the adventure, and I can’t wait to share.

This is a little snippet of all that’s to come. There has been a lot of true capital S Special.
