What’s in today’s edition: my comprehensive list of hotels on the Amalfi Coast (23 hotels); the affordable luxury version of Sunday’s two-week roadtrip from France to Italy; where I’d stay in hotspots: Bali (3 hotels), the Seychelles (2 hotels), Kyoto (3 hotels), St Tropez (3 hotels); non-airport hotels near airports (London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino - 11 hotels total); four hotels in Italy and the US currently under renovation that I’m excited to reopen; three hidden gem hotels in Portugal; hotel sales for Fall/Winter/early Spring stays; and three hotels under $500 (in Umbria, Mont-Saint-Michel, and Athens). Happy hoteling, you good people with good taste.

I do a lot of different things, but this newsletter is the one that makes me the most fulfilled. Thank you for being here, truly. If you enjoy and find value in the free edition on Sundays, I would love to have you as a paid subscriber. Naturally, this is where I try to provide the most value, inspiration, and knowledge. So you can always be the one to know “that place.” The archive is always open. But mostly, THANK YOU for being here and trusting me.

1. My comprehensive Amalfi Coast hotel list

I’m doing it. Why not. These are alllllll the hotels on the Amalfi Coast that are a yes from me. This only covers the actual Amalfi Coast, not Sorrento or the Sorrento Coast, nor Capri. This is my bread and butter. I love bread and butter. I’m picky about my bread and picky about my butter and hotels on the Amalfi Coast are no different. Consider this highly comprehensive - 23 hotels. Enjoy!
