1. My thoughts on Aman hotels

I went live on TikTok a few times in the past week, and multiple times people asked me what I thought about Aman hotels. So, here’s the answer. I like them - in remote locations. Or, locations that don’t have a lot of luxury hotel experiences. And some more than others - it’s just a gut feeling. I don’t love them in cities or places that defeat the brand’s original purpose, which was to bring luxury lodging to lesser-known lands. If you know me even a little, you’ll know that I’m not a minimalist. But, in the right place, the Aman mode of minimalism strikes a chord. Here is my very unofficial current rankings of them, although I have never stayed at an Aman hotel personally (yet!).
