If Substack posts were In-N-Out orders, this would be a double double with everything. For my Brits – the full English (do you capitalize the “f” in full?) For my Italians, lasagne in summer.

Our Big List of the week leads us to the 66 most special hotels in The Netherlands. Then, another big (huge, honestly) curation the antique/flea/vintage markets in Italy, France, and the UK. This post is late because of this, specifically – I went into thesis research territory. Then, the first look at the about-to-open much-awaited 100 Princes Street hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland. Next, a spotlight on Vietnam with four hotels I’m crushing on. Because family-friendly is a frequent request, I’ve rounded up 20 hotels from the previous few weeks’ hotel lists that fit the occasion. Then we’re on to a storybook town in Austria chock-full of charming hotels. Nearing the end, eight great hotels with great sales. Lastly, my link loves of the week.

The Netherlands Hotel List

Small country, Scandi-adjacent, such a unique national identity – I’m sold. Also, with KLM as an AmEx transfer partner, starting a European adventure here is easy to achieve with points and direct flights. Also, of all the countries I communicate with for myself and clients, their email hospitality wins. Dutch people live for summer, so perhaps this is a sign to follow in their footsteps. This is a curation of the 66 most special hotels throughout the country.

26 hotels in Amsterdam. 40 elsewhere in the country. Only the special, and my personal top choices marked by asterisk, as always.
