This week, finally, the full New England hotel list.

Also, my top 50 splurge-worthy hotels for an Italian honeymoon, family-friendly (but cool!) hotels in France and Italy, and three very exciting upcoming hotel openings. Plus, it’s the last day for paid subscribers to get 20% off the Big One - The Curation of Hotels in Italy.

There are a lot of new eyes here, so I thought I’d share the full hotel lists in the archive, while I’m at it. Europe: Spain, Greece, Portugal, Paris, London, Provence Countryside, South of France, Florence, Scandinavia, Amsterdam | The Americas: California, Mexico, Cartagena, Brazil, Argentina | Asia: Rajasthan, Bali, Thailand | Africa: South Africa

Tell me what hotel lists you’d like next, please?! But first, let’s go to New England.

The New England Hotel List

120 hotels. Massachusetts wins with 50. Main gets the silver with 27, Vermont the bronze at 14. No fear - every New England state is here. 12 hotels in Rhode Island (small but mighty), 11 in Connecticut, and 8 in New Hampshire, too. You know the drill - only the special hotels. The ones with the asterisk are most suited to my personal tastes, and thus are my personal top choices. But, they’re all Happy Hoteling-approved. And oh so very many were not. This list has been in the making since my first post, in July. Hotels range from the area obvious: family-friendly, charming camp-style properties and historic inns, to design-driven boutique hotels and wellness destinations. This isn’t my first time saying this, but I think I was born in New England in a past life. I would Eloise-up at so many of these hotels.
